Ninajirachi and Porter Robinson have teamed up on a new single called “WannaCry,” according to Pitchfork.
The song is named after the global cyberattack that happened in 2017. Press materials say the collaboration has been years in the making, and note that the first concert Ninajirachi ever attended as a teenager was a Porter Robinson show at Sydney’s Enmore Theatre.
Robinson released his latest album, Smile! :D, in 2024. Ninajirachi put out her debut full-length, I Love My Computer, last year.
Beginning in September, Ninajirachi is scheduled to wrap up a busy year with a small run of North American headlining shows.
