Miley Cyrus Signs With Atlantic Records, Leaves Columbia

Miley Cyrus has signed with Atlantic Records, according to Rolling Stone, marking a new phase in her career and her departure from Columbia Records.

Cyrus joined Columbia in 2021 and released several notable songs through the label, including “Jaded” and “Flowers.” The latter went on to win her first Grammy Award in 2024.

Her career has included several major label changes over the years. After beginning as a Disney artist, she later moved to RCA Records in 2013 for a three-album deal that included Bangerz and its hit single “We Can’t Stop.”

Rolling Stone also noted that Cyrus released Plastic Hearts in 2020 and later issued Endless Summer Vacation in 2023 and Something Beautiful in 2025 while at Columbia. Cyrus recently told Wonderland magazine that songwriting feels like crossing over to another side and said she feels closest to something bigger than herself when music flows through her.
