Liam Gallagher shuts down Oasis Glastonbury 2027 headline rumours

Liam Gallagher has dismissed rumours that Oasis will headline Glastonbury in 2027, following a wave of speculation over the weekend, according to NME.

Bookmakers had made the Britpop band favourites for the Worthy Farm festival at 4/1, but Gallagher responded on X by saying, “It’s not happening,” and later added more blunt messages aimed at fans convinced the band were on the bill.

He also joked about a dream in which a crowd in Crocs and with flags rushed the stage, and said he would rather not play a show where flag waving and Crocs were encouraged. Gallagher later repeated that he does not want flags at gigs, saying fans should be there to watch the performance.

The report also notes that there is still speculation about Oasis touring again, including possible UK and European dates next year and talk of a Manchester residency, though nothing has been officially confirmed. Oasis previously headlined Glastonbury in 1995 and 2004, and both Liam and Noel Gallagher have since appeared at the festival as solo artists.
