Lewis Capaldi performed a cover of The Kooks’ “Naive” with singer Luke Pritchard during his second headline show at BST Hyde Park in London, according to NME.
Capaldi opened the set with “Hollywood” and also played fan favourites including “Grace,” “Wish You the Best,” an alternate version of “Pointless” and “Something in the Heavens.”
Later in the concert, Pritchard joined him on stage for the 2006 Kooks song, which Capaldi described as “one of the best songs ever written.” The track appears on The Kooks’ debut album, Inside In/Inside Out.
The surprise appearance came one night after Capaldi brought out Sam Fender at the same event. Capaldi has recently released the Survive EP and said earlier this year that a new album is in the works.
