Global Citizen Festival will return to Central Park’s Great Lawn on Saturday, Sept. 26, with Lauryn Hill and Wyclef Jean set to headline, according to Rolling Stone.
The pair will lead a celebration marking the anniversary of the Fugees’ second and final album, The Score. The album included the group’s cover of Roberta Flack’s “Killing Me Softly,” along with the singles “Ready or Not” and “Fu-Gee-La.”
This year’s festival lineup also includes Lenny Kravitz, John Legend, Lainey Wilson, Shaboozey and Tomorrow x Together. Hugh Jackman will host the event, with additional appearances from Rachel Brosnahan and Gayle King.
Global Citizen says the annual New York festival is part of a campaign focused on getting more children into school, helping farmers feed their communities and expanding access to electricity for millions of people around the world. Fans can enter a free ticket lottery or make a $25 donation to receive a ticket immediately.
