Katy Perry got stuck inside a giant inflatable bottle during a crowdsurf stunt at the Isle of MTV Malta festival on July 22, according to NME.
The pop star climbed into the oversized bottle as part of her performance, using it while singing “Hot N Cold” and “I Kissed A Girl.” But the crowd did not roll her toward the stage as planned, leaving her stranded among fans.
At one point, Perry tried to signal the audience to move the bottle in the right direction, but the crowd instead pushed her farther away from the stage.
The incident came as Perry has also been in the news for criticizing the White House over the use of her song “Firework” in a TikTok video showing US military strikes on Iran.
