Katseye’s official trailer for Wild Hearts is out now, and Rolling Stone says the film is being presented as a love letter to the group’s fans. Tickets are available through the movie’s official website.
The trailer opens with footage from the group’s performances at Coachella and Lollapalooza, set to “Pinky Up.” It also includes clips of the members talking about their rapid rise, along with behind-the-scenes moments from dance rehearsals, studio sessions, fan events and music video shoots.
Leader Sophia is heard asking how the group got to this point so quickly, while Yoonchae closes the trailer by saying, “New era, new aura.”
According to Rolling Stone, member Manon Bannerman appears briefly in the trailer in a few separate scenes, including a dance rehearsal, a social media clip and a shot from the group’s Lollapalooza performance. Bannerman announced in February that she was taking a hiatus to focus on her health and wellbeing.
Katseye: Wild Hearts is set to arrive Aug. 12, two days before the group’s third EP, Wild, is released on Aug. 14. The group is also scheduled to begin its Wildworld Tour in September, with stops in North America, the U.K. and Europe.
