Jonas Brothers introduced a new song, “Listen When Sad,” during their concert at Madison Square Garden on Thursday night, according to Rolling Stone. The performance came during the second half of the show.
Before playing the track, Nick Jonas told the audience the band had returned to a sound influenced by early-2000s groups such as Switchfoot, Taking Back Sunday and Dashboard Confessional. He also said the brothers worked again with the producer behind their self-titled album, A Little Bit Longer and Lines, Vines and Trying Times.
The trio is currently on their Burning Up Tour: All Over Again, which includes three nights at Madison Square Garden. Rolling Stone notes that the tour name nods to the original Burnin’ Up Tour from 2008.
Jonas Brothers have not announced when the studio version of “Listen When Sad” will be released. The tour continues with another night at Madison Square Garden before heading to cities across the U.S. this fall, starting in Boston on Sept. 25.
