Halsey has revealed a new platinum blonde hairstyle, sharing photos of the look in an Aug. 18 Instagram post, according to E! News.
In the pictures, the singer, whose real name is Ashley Frangipane, wore gray track pants, a white crop top and Koss headphones while showing off the lighter hair color. She captioned the post, “Auprès de ma blonde,” which translates to “Next to my girl” in French.
The new style is a noticeable change from the dark brown pixie cut she wore about a week earlier while moderating a Q&A panel in Los Angeles. A month before that, she appeared at a European festival run with dark brown braids and caramel blonde strands.
Throughout her career, Halsey has often used her hair as part of her creative expression. In past interviews, she has also spoken about learning to embrace her natural texture and feeling more comfortable with her appearance over time, according to E! News.
