Corbin Mims says his decision to confront Sincere Rhea on Love Island USA came from what he saw during Movie Night and from wanting to be honest, according to E! News.
In an exclusive interview, Corbin said he initially did not want to speak up when it came time to weigh in on Sincere’s behavior toward Melanie Moreno. He said watching the private moments shown at Movie Night changed how he felt.
Corbin said he felt “backstabbed” after seeing Sincere downplay his interactions with Melanie, Sol Dean and Amora Robinson. He added that, as close friends in the villa, he felt Sincere should have been truthful with the group.
He also said his partner, Parmida Keshani, helped shift his thinking because she offered a different view of the situation. Corbin said her perspective made him step back from friendship and speak honestly during the couples’ compatibility vote in episode 27.
Corbin said he was glad he did not simply agree with Sincere, adding that people need friends who will be honest with them when it matters.
