Billboard’s latest Friday Music Guide highlights the week’s biggest new releases, including fresh projects from Charli xcx, Tyla and Morgan Wallen.
Charli xcx has released her new album, Music, Fashion, Film, which Billboard says expands beyond dance-pop and into grungier guitar sounds. The outlet noted that the project shows the singer pushing her style in a new direction rather than repeating her previous work.
Tyla’s second studio album, A*POP, is also out now. According to Billboard, the set includes tracks such as “That Girl,” along with songs she previously placed on the Hot 100 including “Push 2 Start,” “Chanel” and “She Did It Again” with Zara Larsson.
Morgan Wallen also used a recent concert in Baltimore to preview a new song called “Been By Now.” Billboard reports that the track was written by Wallen with Charlie Handsome, John Byron, Blake Pendergrass, Rocky Block and Taylor Phillips.
