Benson Boone postponed his Aug. 8 concert in Sacramento after dealing with a vocal issue, according to E! News.
The 24-year-old said on Instagram Stories that he had been trying throughout the afternoon to get his voice in shape for the show, but he was not able to perform.
Boone apologized to fans, including those who traveled to see him, and said he was disappointed to let them down. He added that the performance will be rescheduled as soon as possible and that an update will be shared once plans are set.
Golden 1 Center, the venue scheduled to host the concert, also said on social media that the postponement was due to health reasons and that more information would be announced when available.
