Aitch announces Netflix documentary on Kilimanjaro charity climb

Aitch has announced a new Netflix documentary about his Mount Kilimanjaro charity climb, according to NME. The film is titled Aitch: Don’t Be Afraid and will premiere on July 26.

Directed by Aaron Fitzmaurice and Harry Tatem, the documentary follows the Manchester rapper’s multi-day ascent of Africa’s highest mountain with friends, family members and people from his team in January 2025.

The climb was organised to raise money and awareness for the Down’s Syndrome Association, where Aitch serves as an ambassador. Inspired by his younger sister Gracie, who has Down’s syndrome, the effort raised more than £160,000 and more than doubled the team’s original goal.

According to the documentary synopsis, the film will show the physical and emotional challenges of the trek, including the effects of high altitude as the group worked toward the summit. It will also explore Aitch’s family life, Gracie’s influence on him, and the charity’s work with people who have Down’s syndrome and their families across the UK.

Aitch first became an official ambassador for the organization in 2022 after the release of his collaboration with Ed Sheeran, “My G.” He also raised more than £50,000 for the charity with a 15,000-foot skydive in 2023.
