Paul Thomas Anderson and Maya Rudolph have spent more than 20 years together, but according to E! News, they have kept their relationship largely out of the public eye. The pair are not known for constant red carpet appearances and have mostly stayed away from the celebrity couple spotlight.
Anderson recently won Best Director and Best Adapted Screenplay at the Oscars for One Battle After Another, which also took home Best Picture to close the ceremony. Rudolph was there to celebrate his long-awaited Academy Award success after 11 previous nominations.
The couple live in Southern California’s San Fernando Valley and are parents to four children: Pearl, Lucille, Jack and Minnie. Anderson said he wants to stay in the area because of his memories there and because he likes seeing his kids build their own memories in the same place.
Rudolph has also worked with Anderson on films including Inherent Vice and Licorice Pizza. Their children made their film debut in Licorice Pizza in 2021, and Pearl also appeared in One Battle After Another, according to E! News.
