Kim Zolciak is defending her son, Kroy "KJ" Biermann Jr., after his arrest in Alpharetta, Georgia, according to E! News.
Court documents obtained by E! News say the 15-year-old was taken into custody on Aug. 17 on sodomy and aggravated sexual battery charges. A criminal warrant says the allegations involve an incident reported to have happened in a changing room at a Lifetime Fitness gym on April 23.
In a statement to E! on Aug. 21, Zolciak said the claims against her son were reckless and troubling. She said KJ denies being involved with the woman or doing what has been alleged.
Zolciak also said he took a voluntary polygraph test and that investigators found no DNA evidence. Her attorney, Jason Sheffield, also told E! that KJ is innocent and asked the public not to rush to judgment while the case moves forward.
