Dry Cleaning surprised the crowd at Green Man this weekend by inviting Wilco’s Jeff Tweedy onstage during their set, according to NME.
The South London post-punk band played the Mountain Stage on August 21 and teamed with Tweedy for a version of “My Soul/Half Pint.” Tweedy also contributed guitar to the studio recording of the song.
The track appears on Dry Cleaning’s third album, Secret Love, which was released earlier this year. Parts of the record were also put together at Wilco’s Chicago studio, The Loft.
NME reports that the Green Man performance was the first time Dry Cleaning and Tweedy have played the song together live. Wilco were set to headline the Mountain Stage later that same day.
